Project 1: World Sight Awareness Week (WSAW)
Goals: Service for Sight is Delta Gamma’s philanthropy, and during October we ran a campaign on eye health to increase awareness of World Sight Day, White Cane Day, and other special events. Our first goal was to increase visitation/action to Delta Gamma Foundation social media pages, email, and website. Our second goal was to provide a WSAW Toolkit resource for members with pre-made social media graphics and templates to ensure easy sharing and event posting.

WSAW Toolkit
Role, Insights and Project Details:
Assisted in designing the WSAW Toolkit on the Delta Gamma Foundation website.
Analyzed data from past social media insights to inform what type of content people respond best to. This included more photos of members participating in events and less graphic heavy posts. Instagram and Facebook data result: increased numbers for likes, shares and followings.
Created/edited graphic design and photo content that provided information about eye safety including a new post series about safety during eclipses.
Called attention to our website and our philanthropy partners through links attached to posts.
Project 3: Do Good Week
Goal: Do Good Week is Delta Gamma’s annual philanthropy and volunteer appreciation week. Our primary goal was to increase visitation/action to Delta Gamma Foundation social media pages, especially post sharing among members and alums.
Key Insights and Project Details:
Assisted in designing the Do Good Week graphics.
Called attention to our philanthropy and reshared relevant content members posted for the event. Also shared educational content about other organizations.
Project 2: Celebrating 150 Years: Foundation Giving
Goal: As part of Delta Gamma’s 150 year anniversary, projects including Cream Rose Tribute Giving (CRTG) were launched as a campaign where members could gift a shoutout to a friend or family member of DG along with their donation to the Foundation. The first goal of this campaign was to generate excitement around giving during our sesquicentennial, and bring members together to donate to the organization for future generations. The second goal was to highlight our Annual Impact Report (AIR) findings.
